“Wind River” is a story of savagery, loneliness, and slow burning pursuit.
“Live By Night” isn’t rotten, it’s simply forgettable.
“Sleepless” is essentially a bad cop chase movie set inside a Las Vegas casino.
This story sounds like something that could be ripped from the headlines and it works as a satisfying, intelligent, adult political thriller for the most part.
There isn’t much substance here but “Underworld: Blood Wars” provides enough fun escapism for a couple of hours.
How fantastic it is to see a movie where one of the core messages is that society should highly value education and intelligence, making America a place where anyone can strive to rise above what they’ve been dealt instead of hurtling towards an idiocracy.
