“Once Upon A Time in Harlem”
A remarkable time capsule that brings the Harlem Renaissance to life through candid, fascinating stories from the legends who lived it.
“A Year in London”
What should have been a moving story of love, identity, and artistic growth ends up feeling surprisingly flat.
“The Weird Kidz”
Edgy teen humor, creature feature scares, and heartfelt friendship make this a wonderfully weird cult movie discovery for horror fans.
“The Social Reckoning”
Has a compelling story and an urgent message, but neither is enough to save a movie that never quite comes together.
“Canceled: The Paula Deen Story”
This documentary seems designed more to rehabilitate Deen’s public image than to honestly examine the scandal that ended her career.
