This half-baked sequel never even comes close to touching the brilliance of its predecessor, but it’s good for a few hearty laughs.
As with most of Sandler’s recent work, the story has a sweet and heartfelt tone and ending. It’s not really out of place here, but it also doesn’t exactly feel earned or authentic.
This is a strained mockumentary that isn’t worth your time.
