The story is far from universal, and the characters will fail to elicit much sympathy from those who haven’t experienced similar issues.
The film is colorful, funny, and engaging enough for both kids and adults to find much to enjoy.
“Flower” mixes teenage angst with bouts of (supposed) dark comedy that takes inherently risky material and nearly destroys it with utter implausibility.
