FANATICAL ABOUT FILM!
Movies are our religion and the theater our church. Our gods are named Tarantino, Anderson and Scorsese.
We attend services 3-4 times a week and take our communion in the form of soda and popcorn. We offer up these reviews in hopes of pleasing our deities.
Please share your own comments on our reviews. We encourage all forms of respectful debate. We are, after all, “Fanatical About Film”!

“She Dies Tomorrow”
Comes across like a glorified student film rather than a contemplative exercise in existential anxiety.
“First Cow”
I appreciate nuanced filmmaking, but I have a low tolerance for cinema that is overtly tedious.
“Wolfwalkers”
This gorgeous, impressive animated feature will take you back to the glory days of 2d animation.
“Wild Mountain Thyme”
Nothing excuses how a project with such a strong cinematic pedigree could produce a film that totally misses the mark by such a wide margin.
“Wonder Woman 1984”
The material is too unexciting and the performances too lackluster to deliver much more than a stale comic book fantasy.
