As a woman, I appreciate the film’s sentiment and the feminist lens in which its presented, but I just wish it had been more successful overall.

If you’re watching this auditory horror film and focusing on what your eyes see rather than what your ears hear, you are missing the point.

“The Elderly”
Blends psychological and body horror in a way that’s extremely unsettling, creating a disturbing, nightmarish tale about the very human fear of aging.
“Amsterdam”
A highly pedigreed film that’s a floundering misfire.
“Barber Westchester”
An independent animated film that’s not fancy nor polished, but beautifully (and eccentrically) showcases the artist’s unique voice.
