Category: Festival Coverage
“The Critic”
The film is slowed down by a darker, more lurid focus to its storytelling rather than one with any sort of sophisticated narrative or character development.
“100 Yards”
A dull and sorely boring martial arts movie with a lackluster story and disappointing lack of adventure.
“The Delinquents”
With deadpan humor and an observational style that’s peppered with an existential twist, the film is surreal, awkward, and very, very strange.
“Mother, Couch”
A challenging film that’s more interested in setting an overall existential mood than presenting an engaging narrative.
“There’s Something in the Barn”
“Gremlins” meets “Home Alone” in this playful, silly, and snarky holiday horror film about Norwegian barn elves on a rampage.
