“Butcher’s Crossing”
An American Western about a world of unchecked male ambition, aggression, obsession, horror, and the obliteration of the buffalo.

The reveal is disturbing and upsetting, but it comes so far out of left field that it’s quite not as rewarding as I’d like.
“Mushrooms”
Toys with time, intentions, trust, perception, and manipulation in a way that’s unanticipated and rewarding.
“The Uncle (Stric)”
A highly unsettling holiday horror comedy with a squirm level that is off the charts.
“River”
Touching and hilarious, this sweet dramedy is a delightful, lighthearted, and clever entry in the director’s time loop filmography.
