A painfully honest (if uneven) film about the coping mechanisms we adopt when romantic fantasies start to crumble.
A painfully honest (if uneven) film about the coping mechanisms we adopt when romantic fantasies start to crumble.
A funny mumblecore style film with a sweet message that has the potential to become a bonafide cult classic among theater kids.
Sloppy, indifferent, unfunny, and charmless. Having kids spew profanity is not an acceptable substitute for humor.
I do applaud the film for placing a greater focus on verbal wisecracks and refusing to use McCarthy’s real world physique as a cheap punch line.
