Fans of movies about the little guy who comes out on top will want to pop the champagne for this perfectly formulated underdog narrative.
The best way to sum up this review is “c’mon, guys, it’s not that bad.” I realize that isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement for a movie, but it’s good enough to provide a mildly amusing escape for a couple of hours.
An animated film that’s unusual in style and tone, but the characters and voice actors are good enough for a mild recommendation.
The fight choreography is magnificent throughout, with show-stopping action sequences that are imaginative and inspired.
