While it’s not really the definition of a good movie, it’s still pretty watchable.
“The Dinner”
The incredibly disturbing and often frustrating film “The Dinner” can at times come across as pretentious, obnoxious, and distressing: but that’s the point.
“The Circle”
This is one of the biggest letdowns so far this year.
“Colossal”
The true joy of this one is in the discovery.
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”
There’s not much craft nor artistry to “Guardians Vol. 2”, but it’s as good as the first movie and it’s still fun enough to not become a total disaster.
“Sandy Wexler”
As with most of Sandler’s recent work, the story has a sweet and heartfelt tone and ending. It’s not really out of place here, but it also doesn’t exactly feel earned or authentic.
