Dragging out this drab “Star Wars” rip-off into two parts is excessive, but hopefully the second installment will fare better.

“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”
Jason Mamoa’s charisma and amiability are thoroughly squandered here, which is probably the biggest of the film’s many disappointments.

A sometimes unbearably sad film that chronicles the rise, fall, and unfathomable misfortune that befell one of the most influential families in the sport of wrestling.
“Dicks: The Musical”
A raunchy musical that’s trying so very hard to be funny, likeable, and edgy that it fails at all of it.
“Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain”
A one-note comedy that’s sloppily written, poorly acted, and lacks any semblance of an inspired comedic spark.
“Maestro”
A pretentious, clichéd, overly dramatic, and flimsy biopic that’s a textbook case of a filmmaker who is more in love with himself than his subject.
