The film is extremely slow moving, and a successful project would not have left me waiting for the characters to die and being relieved when it was finally over.

“Fixation”
A psychological thriller that places more weight on style rather than substance.
“Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile”
A good-natured, family-friendly adventure about a timid boy and his scarf-wearing, singing crocodile.
“The Munsters”
Like a bad Saturday morning kid’s show that’s corny, goofy, and seems aimed at the younger set. Except for the makeup, costumes, and production design, there is very little for grown-ups to enjoy.
“Mr. Harrigan’s Phone”
The script was based on a short story and feels like it, mostly because the film seems too vague. It’s open-ended and offers no resolution, which is frustrating as a viewer.
“Smile”
A satisfying genre film that’s well done and scary as hell, even if the evil curse story line has been done many times before.
