After all the pointless plot twists, gross overacting, and irritating visuals, all that’s left is a jumbled, disappointing mess of bloody brutality.

“Bohemian Rhapsody”
This one is an all-around crowd pleaser made for fans that, much like Mercury himself, succeeds despite its flaws.

The straightforward, solid storytelling makes this mainstream military submarine thriller one that’s worth watching.
“Venom”
Hardcore fans of the comics may enjoy “Venom” more than an average moviegoer, but the film is ultimately too weird and confusing with an ending that’s just stupid.
