FANATICAL ABOUT FILM!
Movies are our religion and the theater our church. Our gods are named Tarantino, Anderson and Scorsese.
We attend services 3-4 times a week and take our communion in the form of soda and popcorn. We offer up these reviews in hopes of pleasing our deities.
Please share your own comments on our reviews. We encourage all forms of respectful debate. We are, after all, “Fanatical About Film”!

“An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power”
The bulk of the doc seems hell bent on scolding climate deniers and responding to skeptics than presenting clear, sound science on the issue.
“The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature”
I enjoyed it in spite of myself.
“Annabelle: Creation”
“Annabelle Creation” displays the sort of deft talent and fluency in the language of horror that make this movie perfect both for casual thrill-seekers and true fans of the genre.
“Detroit”
“Detroit” will make you angry, but it’ll make you angry for all the right reasons.
“The Emoji Movie”
This movie is that, like the “meh” emoji, it’s kinda boring, sorta funny, and totally pointless.
