FANATICAL ABOUT FILM!
Movies are our religion and the theater our church. Our gods are named Tarantino, Anderson and Scorsese.
We attend services 3-4 times a week and take our communion in the form of soda and popcorn. We offer up these reviews in hopes of pleasing our deities.
Please share your own comments on our reviews. We encourage all forms of respectful debate. We are, after all, “Fanatical About Film”!

“Annabelle: Creation”
“Annabelle Creation” displays the sort of deft talent and fluency in the language of horror that make this movie perfect both for casual thrill-seekers and true fans of the genre.
“Detroit”
“Detroit” will make you angry, but it’ll make you angry for all the right reasons.
“The Emoji Movie”
This movie is that, like the “meh” emoji, it’s kinda boring, sorta funny, and totally pointless.
“Kidnap”
Berry gives it her all, screaming and wailing and swerving her way through the movie.
“Girls Trip”
It’s always a pleasure when a film portrays its female characters with a warmth and realism that makes you long to hang out with them if they existed in the real world.
