Who isn’t entertained by Samuel L. Jackson loudly spouting off his dialogue with all manner of creative “motherf%$&ers” peppered throughout?

FANATICAL ABOUT FILM!
Movies are our religion and the theater our church. Our gods are named Tarantino, Anderson and Scorsese.
We attend services 3-4 times a week and take our communion in the form of soda and popcorn. We offer up these reviews in hopes of pleasing our deities.
Please share your own comments on our reviews. We encourage all forms of respectful debate. We are, after all, “Fanatical About Film”!

“The Battleship Island”
“The Battleship Island” reminds me of the Korean version of Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds.”
“The Dark Tower”
This movie is better than nothing, but not as good as you want it to be.
“Logan Lucky”
I can’t really recommend “Logan Lucky” to anybody I know because I can’t think of one person who would actually find the movie enjoyable.
“Maudie”
Biopics can sometimes be an unusual animal, but films like “Maudie” are especially interesting because the subject is a little known person with a smaller scale story.
“An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power”
The bulk of the doc seems hell bent on scolding climate deniers and responding to skeptics than presenting clear, sound science on the issue.
