Genuine and grounded, the documentary is a very human and surprisingly uplifting film about what it’s like to live with anxiety and how humor can be a lifeline.

FANATICAL ABOUT FILM!
Movies are our religion and the theater our church. Our gods are named Tarantino, Anderson and Scorsese.
We attend services 3-4 times a week and take our communion in the form of soda and popcorn. We offer up these reviews in hopes of pleasing our deities.
Please share your own comments on our reviews. We encourage all forms of respectful debate. We are, after all, “Fanatical About Film”!

“Nobody 2”
The perfect form of late summer popcorn escapism and the very definition of a total crowd pleaser.
“Folktales”
A tender coming-of-age documentary about Arctic teens whose bond with sled dogs transforms them.
“Reel Hard”
Equal parts dumb fun and sharp parody, the film skewers Hollywood through a haze of absurdist, late-night indie energy.
“The Musicians”
A film that will most appeal to lovers of classical music and French art-house storytelling. It’s not a broad comedy, and that’s exactly the point.
“Freakier Friday”
What once felt fresh now feels forced in this chaotic and confusing sequel.
